Feet & Headbands!

Taylor has officially discovered her feet!  She had been getting close the past few weeks and would tug on her pant leg around her shin.  But finally last night in the bath tub, she got 'em!  Hopefully this will mean that she'll start rolling soon.  I'm sure we are going to begin the time of "grab my socks and put them in my mouth".  Ick!

My friend Sheila made the CUTEST headbands for Taylor!  I got them on Monday and immediately went home and had a little photo shoot.  She looks absolutely adorable!  There are 4 equally adorable headbands, but I think the white one may be my fave!

Much better!

Thursday marked Take 2 of Taylor's 3 month pictures.  It went sooooo much better!  She didn't even fuss once!  We got some really cute ones of her in a striped hoodie and then my favorites of her in just a diaper and a tutu!  She's just so precious I could squeeze her!!

We also got the pictures back from her first session.  There were only about 15 useable ones, but we managed to get some cute shots from that one too!  Here's my favorite :)

Isn't she just a beautiful baby?

Tuesday was a long day this week.  I had to go to Louisville for work on a day trip, so Zack was single daddy for a day.  The day started off with Taylor being dropped off at Grandpa's.  Apparently, Taylor made a little present for Grandpa on the way over.  My dad went to pick her up out of the carrier and discovered she had pooped herself and it shot all the way up her back, to her shoulders.  YUCK!  What a nice surprise for 8:00 in the morning!

We also had our baptism prepration class with Deacon Wayne last night.  We spent about an hour going over the ritual and discussing what baptism means.  It made me so excited for that special day.  I can't wait for Taylor to be an official "child of God" :)  Not that she isn't already :)  We are going to be picking a day soon!

Next week is only a 4 day work week for me!  We are going up north with Kevin & Meghan on Thursday night!!  I can't wait to get up there!  It will be nice to spend some time away and with friends.  And, Taylor will get to meet her Great Grandpa Harry for the first time while we are up there.

Not even a poop will wake her up!

Normally, Taylor does not poop at night.  Well actually she never has.  When I went to change her diaper at 8:30 this morning, there was some poopy!  I have no idea when she went because it obviously didn't wake her up!  I am so thankful to have a baby who loves to sleep as much as her mommy :)

Taylor and I are watching the Opening Ceremony for the Vancouver Winter Olympics that I recorded last night.  I don't know if I've ever watched one start to finish, but it was really cool!  I can't wait for some good TV viewing in the next few weeks!

Our final counter offer was finally accepted on the new house!  Our inspection is hopefully going to happen tomorrow and a closing date should be set soon after that!  We are looking forward to this next adventure!  Especially since they dropped a porta potty in the front yard next door on Thursday - woo hoo!  Glad it's not 90 degrees and humid outside :)

Update

Not too much to update on.  Life has been breezing by now that I'm back to work.  Our "daycare" situation is seeming to work out well so far.  Zack is enjoying his time with her during the day and I certainly rush home to see my baby girl at the end of the day!

Taylor is drooling a lot more lately and is still very talkative.  Still trying to get that rolling thing down, but not quite there.  She had lots of cousin time on Saturday with Owen.  It was so cute to see them interact now that she's a little more alert.

We had a nice lasagna lunch at Gran-neigh-ma Theresa's house on Saturday while Daddy was at work.  All of the neighbor ladies couldn't get enough of her!  Last week on Wednesday we also had a ladies dinner out.  We went to Karl's Kabin in Plymouth with Meghan, Megan, Heather, Aalea and a few others.  It was nice to get out with some adult girls and have adult talk.  But, Taylor was a welcome addition as well.  She slept for most of the time and then split her time between lots of different laps.

I have my first work trip coming up on Tuesday.  Thank goodness I was able to swing it as a day trip.  I'm definitely not ready to miss giving her a good morning kiss or tucking her in at night.  Just can't do it yet!  But, Zack will be a single daddy for a day!   He'll even have to do bath time :)
